A driver has just rang me to say that someone has broken 2 side windows in one of the cars. Police have given a crime number but won't be coming out because there is no blood and no one saw it happen and there is no description. It happened between 02.30 and 06.30 |

It was recently highlighted on the local news that Leicestershire police would not send an officer round for attempted burglary if you lived in a house with an odd number, only if you had an even number. Police are no longer required to investigate what they consider to be minor crime, just record it. In this particular case there will be no forensic evidence because, although the driver had left their sat nav and money in the car, Yes I did tell them how stupid they were, The car was not entered and nothing taken. |

I am just thinking that we do not have police for crime, and neither unless it is career enhancing do they want to bother, but if you call somebody names i.e Andrew Mitchell (pleb).....we have coppers here there and everywhere! As said....them . I once heard a councillor refer to the police as "his police force" , as a matter of interest how much influence does your local council have on local police policies?

skippy41 wrote: scrap yard for replacements, or auto glass, £60 excess Our insurance is a fleet policy. A claim for glass is still a claim and the whole fleet would get loaded at renewal. Also the glass excess is £350. It cost £220 to replace both windows with a local firm and it was done by lunch time.
