Following the car window smashing this morning, I just got a text from my son to say that one of our cars has been hit whilst in the petrol station by a horse box. I think I will stay here in Spain for a while longer.

It wasn't parked by the horse box. It was at the pumps and the horse box drove around it, or not as the case was. The petrol station has the incident on CCTV if needed.

The insurance has finally got around to authorising the repairs today. I suppose 4 days is quite quick for them. At least we will have the car back on the road for this weekend so we haven't had to line someone else's pocket for a hire car.
