is it me or are the vinyls a bit poorly fitted on that van ? I thought that even if taxi ranks were on private land the laws still apply ? But then I'm not an expert I presume the railway company had nowhere else to site him ? Pay attention we had a similar thing with our station it turns out that the coffee van in question needed a street traders license and when the LO at the council found out and invited him to apply and pay for one he packed it in we have had 3 since then the longest lasted about 3 months but a compromise was reached so that the taxis could still rank up. When all is said and done there isn't enough trade except at the big stations so many try it and then find out that they are lucky to take £30 to £40 a day |
