We have received a parking charge notice from EXCEL parking. One of our drivers parked in our local Iceland store to get some stuff from the shop. He didn't get a pay and display ticket. I have filled the notice in with the drivers name and address and popped it in an elvelope. I have also included an invoice for our administration charge for providing the information and filling in the form. The invoice is for £100.00 plus VAT. Do you think they will pay the invoice? Oh and I haven't put a stamp on the envelope. |

ven2112 wrote: hope you gave a false name & address ya grass !! ![]() The driver was quite happy to put his name on the form so that he can join the fun when they send him the parking charge invoice. |

the question is how enforceable is your invoice ? enough to put them off challenging you because if they do and the judge is on their side could be expensive ? On the other hand maybe they will shy away from pursuing it

They wanted me to fill in a form, which meant that I had to search our records to get the information required. put their form in to an envelope and address the same. Take this envelope to the post box to post it and return home. Then they wanted me to deliver their mail to the driver. Try asking your solicitor or doctor to do similar and see how much the bill is. |

I bill them as well..same £100..But I point out that they are only allowed to charge for their loss..and not issue a fine...... |

Excel cannot fine anybody, but they can issue worthless invoices. Post it on Pepipoo and see what mirth your action generates.

Play with a straight bat and Excel won't dare to risk court. They use IAS which is a totally sham ADR run by afirm of solicitors who are shafting their clients all the way. As Roythebus says, Pepipoo has some wonderful IAS threads.

I don't believe it, they have written back saying they don'tn accept my charges. That must mean that they paid the excess postage to get the letter. They obviously didn't read their own form becasuse i had filled it in giving the drivers details and they have again asked me for the details. looks like they will get another invoice for Me having to contact them again. |

Make sure you follow through with a proper letter before court action prior to taking them to court!!!
