I heard a couple of goofers fans talking yesterday saying the Wenger is likely to be called to visit her majesty in the new year to receive a knighthood I didn't realise French nationals could be Knighted it will be interesting if it is true.

I think they should throw in a free season ticket for Prince Harry get a bit of Royal patronage at the emirates

It would be an honorary title. Many non brits get them. 2 of the most recent ones are Terry Wogan and Steven Spielberg. Bob hope was also knighted.

I think Bob Hope was born British then went to the US as a child. Don't know if he had dual nationality. Didn't know he had been knighted. Didn't Bob Geldof get an honorary knighthood?
