this morning while dropping off at Stansted was approached by a marshall ordering me to move on I had only been there about 40 seconds and was clearly unloading my passengers. As I left i noticed just beyond 4 cars parked with no drivers in that the marshall was ignoring. I wonder if they are specifically targeting taxis the locals were there in large numbers with no sign of work so perhaps the authorities are trying to stop others picking up and dropping off there

If its a public drop off then its a drop off for all, surely the guy has no right to move you on, sounds like he's turdy wee jobsworth.

Looking at this link they aint even keen on the Public dropping off by car, the only concession they seem to give is a sap to the locals who have to put up with the place. Surely an airport is duty bound to supply a drop off Zone for its Car using Clients.

especially as probably 80 to 90 % of those clients have to arrive before the trains start running !
