German Chancellor Angela Merkel has voiced outrage over the sexual assaults and thefts that male gangs inflicted on women in Cologne on New Year's Eve.
Women have made at least 90 criminal complaints to police about the harassment by gangs at Cologne's main railway station on Thursday night.
Germans have been shocked by the scale of the attacks, involving many groups of drunk and aggressive young men.
Witnesses and police said the men were of Arab or North African appearance.
Mrs Merkel called Cologne Mayor Henriette Reker on Tuesday and expressed her "outrage over these disgusting attacks and sexual assaults".
The chancellor said everything must be done "to find the perpetrators as quickly and comprehensively as possible and punish them, regardless of their origin or background".

It's Typical Guardian guff, they say that " the clock has been turned back to an era when Europe didn’t exist, "..utter crap, Europe is a continent and not a political ideal, if the EU imploded tomorrow Europe would still exist as would the people of Europe.

The Pro Euro types always Mistake Europe for the EU in their pathetic little arguments, they are not one and the same, Geographically we will always be part of Europe but that does not mean we always will be or have to be part of the EU, indeed we are classed as European even though we are an Island breed separated drom Continental Europeans by the channel.

it doesn't make any change to UK... UK isn't a member of Schengen Treaty, there's still border control with id checks... so, even EU collapse will not make any change in this matter except economic turbulences and increase of poverty...

Back some weeks ago it was basically indicated that I lacked compassion re the immigrants when I said pull up the drawbridge.........I wonder if they are still the same thoughts of the do-gooders - now that the criminals/rapists have come out to play #-o

This is only the start of horrendous crimes to come.

Like so many others the PC brigade have bludgeoned police everywhere into being frightened of the accusation of racism. The problem is that it is the biggest weapon in the arsenal of those who want to get away with stuff like this

I wonder if the refugees welcome signs will still be out as wives and daughters are raped - or am I being racist?

Apparently 18 out of the 30 identified are asylum seekers......although the BBC describes this as something different, they say out of the 200 sexual assaults 'some' were 'allegedly' done by people seeking asylum.

We are swiftly going to hell on a handcart.

Interesting to see the police today out in force against the anti-immigrant demo, compared to the pathetic effort when women were being abused and raped during NYE. :sad: :sad: :sad:

Germany has massive problems now, all of their own making.
