I am sorry about his passing. I also have music of his saved from YouTube on my "Tablet" as I do with many others. However one thing bothers me! Not just about David Bowie, but about others as well, it is this...... In any other profession these musicians/artists would have been vilified as cheats, as they built their fortunes on the back of taking drugs (many quotes of it gave me inspiration/vision). In many respects it high-lites the low double standards of U.K governments who often reward them with Knighthoods, being fully aware of their background and drug taking. We now have adulation.........I just do not get it. |

Complete idiot on Jeremy Vine yesterday. Took the day off work, because he was too upset at the news of David Bowie's death... Hope his boss heard him. Claims of genius a little far fetched. The man who sold the world, gave us the laughing gnome. BTW, I've got a copy of the man who sold the world in the original Bowie in drag cover. Probably gone up in value overnight. Any offers? |
