bloke/wife/teen gets in..

drive back into town to the bar where the older daughter works (say £4 on the meter) cos theyve lost thier house keys and the older daughter has keys... after 5 minutes (dad and teen are in the car) mum comes out and walks off into the precint to get cash from ATM... (nice)

10 minutes later shes back, card declined... so they stand/sit having a convo

(BTW dads pi55ed and hardly with us)

after 5 minutes they decide they have enough cash (and dad slurs eyve gotch cashhh in home)

so i take em back home

as we arrive mum asks what she owes me

£10 says I

dad sobers up......"YOUR FLECKING JOKING" .... then i have to wait 5 minutes while mum finds dads stash..



next job... old couple from A&E to next town, straight in....straight there, £15 fare, gives me £20

then i went home.....

Level crossing keepers who deliberately keep traffic waiting longer than necessary !!

got stuck at Uffington yesterday which has manual gates (for sighting reasons as the approach is on a bend) 2 trains then the signalman took 1 to 2 minutes to come to the door slowly wandered down the steps and over to the gates then kept opening and shutting them while he worked out how they close and finally sauntered casually back to the box

its normally about 30 to 40 seconds after the train for the traffic to be able to go he took nearly 3 minutes
