Far North (Cumbria) and far South (Devon) have different definitions of hot!

In Cumbria, if the water is not solid, it's hot.

In Devon if the water evaporates, it's hot.

Picked a girl up today who I use to take to primary school.

Lovely girl who I have picked up many times.

She gets in the car and said she was delighted I picked her up as today is a special day for her.

I said are you getting married, no she said it was her fortieth birthday today.

having to try 3 different supermarkets to buy chilled meats for sandwich filling after some sort of overnight power outage meant they refused to sell any of it even though it's in sealed packets because it might have been at the wrong temperature for part of the night :roll:

so they twice tried to deliver a parcel to my old address last week so I phoned them up on tuesday and asked them to drop it off at the local post office round the corner

What did they do they tried to deliver it to my old address again ! FFS so yet again booked drop off at local post office now going to be monday :roll: but what's the betting it ends up going back to the old address
