In this area Gatwick is the airport you will get offered by the travel agents unless you push hard for a nearer one but also long haul destinations such as Florida are often from Gatwick or heathrow and the cheaper deal is usually Gatwick

customer "15 minutes"

Operator "that's booked in"

Customer " how much is it

Operator " £12"

customer "I've just been quoted £8 "

Operator " sorry that's too cheap for us best go with him then "

customer " but he can't fit us in he's only got 4 seats "

Operator " that's why he quoted that price he isn't a 6 seater he's quoted for a car "

customer "I'm not paying that price who else has 6 seaters "

Operator " most firms have you are welcome to try elsewhere"

5 minutes later customer rings back and books it !!!!!

Mates who ring you when you are abroad asking for you to bring back some duty free goods for them.

They don't ask before you go as that means they would have to pay up front. :-k
