especially when they block a major road at school time for 3 or 4 minutes to load meaning you can't get to any of the supermarkets or one of the surgeries and the hospital

Highway departments who place traffic islands level with bus stops so when the bus stops you can't overtake it.

Every punter who moans about the rain always says and...

' I bet there will be a drought this summer'.

Don't know why it gets me, but it does.

FFS say something original punter. Image

That is done on purpose to make sure you can't overtake and hit bus passengers who will cross the road in front of the bus.

If they haven't got the sense to wait until the bus has pulled away to cross the road it's a simple example of Darwin'ism at its finest.

The prat of a taxi driver (from a rival firm) who came round a blind bend at above the speed limit three foot over the central white line and took off my door mirror, then starts shouting abuse and threatening me saying it was my fault and what am I going to do about it.

THEN..........

The joy of pointing to my dashcam and saying how the police and licensing would be interested in seeing the footage !!
He's agreed to cover the cost of a new mirror, and half a days earnings whilst it's fitted - £270+vat for the mirror ( ) plus £50 for the inconvenience.

Oh, and he's got his own mirror to replace as well

sociologists refer to it as "instant gratification" which apparently means you do things like that to desperately escape your hum drum existence
