Taxi Driver Online

I have mentioned recently about the police in our town cracking down on vehicles using one of our roads that says busses only. My missus has just been pulled by 2 women police officers whilst going down this road. One of them jumped out in front of her forcing her to do an emergency stop. She then went to the drivers window and told my missus, "you can't come down here it is busses only." Now I don't know which bit gave it away, it could have been all the windows down the side or the kids laughing but my missus said, err, this is a bus and specsavers is across the road behind you. The other copper was in stitches.

Anything with more than 8 passenger seats is classed as a bus for using bus lanes unless the "buses only" sign has the word "LOCAL" on it, which means only buses on registered routes can use it. In London the exemption os "TfL Buses". buses going to or from the start of a route are classed as local buses for the purpose of the act. Been there, dunnit, won in magistrates.
