Can a private hire driver with an operators licence accept booking from outside there licence area? E.g if i hold a south Ayrshire badge can i take booking form north Ayrshire for airport work etc. |

Else no one would be able to do airport pick ups. |

if its booked in by your base or through you via your base then there isnt an issue |

Just out of curiosity, how would a hackney go about picking up a private job outside of his borough? Can a booking be taken by someone ringing their mobile or can a booking be taken verbally? |

Although some do take a different view. |
