PROPOSED CHANGES TO FEES FOR VEHICLE, DRIVER AND OPERATORS’ LICENCES

Notice is hereby given under Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 that Sefton Council proposes to increase the fees and charges for Hackney Carriage vehicle and driver licences, private hire vehicle and driver licences and private hire operators’ licences as detailed below: -

Copies of this notice and a list of all new fees will be placed at Southport and Bootle Town Hall during the objection period stated in this Notice and will at all reasonable hours be open to public inspection without payment. Objections may be sent in writing to Jill Coule, Sefton Council, Regulation and Compliance, Magdalen House, 30 Trinity Road, Bootle L20 3NJ. If no objections are received within 28 days of publication of this notice, then the proposed new fees will come into force with effect from 14th April 2016. Where objections are received they will be given due consideration and if the Council decides to implement the proposed increases after consideration of objections received, the proposed fees will come into force with or without modification no later than 3rd May 2016.
