Plymouth cabbie sheds 13 stone to save life 29 April 2016 Last updated at 08:44 BST A 30-stone (190kg) cabbie lost 13 stone (83kg) in a year after being warned he could die because he was so overweight. A community weight loss scheme in Plymouth saw Roger Laughton, 46, shed more pounds than the weight of his trainer. It was not easy - Roger has been hospitalised several times along the way. Sussex wrote: I agree, but I expect at least another 40 years. My dad had his 90th birthday in March. He told me he is looking forward to the next 20 years at least. He is that fit and well that I wouldn't bet against him doing it.
