I had a couple of scrotes one night from Littlestone to New Romney, about a 2 mile trip. Stop at the cash machine, one gets out and legs it, the other tried to get out but I was quicker on the gas than he was. Took him out of town towards Lydd which had a police station then. "Where we going"?? "Lydd police station" . " No, take me back to Romney, I'm out on bail at the moment". Just as a police car came along from the other direction, flashed them, they stopped and gave the scrote a lift to the cells.

Picked a fella up from the local A&E many years ago.

Driving down the road he says what a good service this is, I said that's nice of you to say so.

He then says who pays for the cab, I say you do.

He then says that it says freephone taxi where he rang from.

I said best you get out now then. ](*,)

This happened to a driver i worked with about 25 years ago not me

Picked 2 lads up at the local police station and took them to corby just 100 yards from Corby police station they pulled a knife on him robbed him and scarpered turns out the police had handed the knife back to them as it was not illegal but because this happened in Corby they couldn't catch them as they had nothing to go on and they'd given false ID's to our local plods

Driver was not injured I should add

Picked up a little old lady after 11pm ,she said " take me to a Chinese" told her they where all closed
she insisted i drive her to a couple of Chinese restaurants ,got there and sure enough they where closed.
I then drove her to the bed and breakfast she was staying in ,then told her the fare was £10.
She lifted her right arm up in the air and said "you best take my rings".

Another one involved another driver picked up a guy from the rank took him to area in town where there
are lots of hotels and BBs , he got out the car made a run for the railway line behind a hotel. The driver
caught him as he tried to climb the fence to cross the rail line. Driver took him back to the car and took him to base
which was round the corner. When he was in the office waiting for the police to come he [edited by admin] himself, all
down his legs.

Very long story short turns out he was a Met Police officer down for the weekend. Local cops nicked him.
