well at half time I thought an early exit beckoned but at last Hodgson realised Kane is off his game and put some strikers on who would go for it England finally got the result they deserved as they are the best team in that group for sure

well played the 3 lions shame hart didn't get to the Bale free kick but it was a great strike and the right result in the end

Stirling is horse sh!t as is Kane, he was puffing like a 300 year old steam train. As soon as he took them two off at half time the game altered. I can't moan I won £70, I had Wales to win 1-0, I cashed out at the start of the 2nd half.

Can't see the point of a wall when the ball is that far out. All it did was obscure the ball from Hart.

Half time changes made a bit of sense although i think Vardy and Kane would be a good set up.

Bad news is i had to miss the last ten minutes as Mrs Sussex got home and it was time to go out to eat.

Lovely Thai red curry and pinapple and cashew rice.

He was in an offside position but the ball was headed to him by a welsh player so he was not offside.

The right result - Attacking football should always be the winner, and it was =D> =D> =D>

agreed I thought Sturridge and Rashford seemed to combine well that might be an interesting forward line up

They beat the Germans in the friendly with them two playing together.

If you have them both playing together there will always be one of them playing out of position. This makes them less effective. With a squad of 23 players there should be no one playing out of their natural position.

Vardy can play either high up or deep just off the last defender as he did in the 2nd half yesterday. That team that beat Germany in the friendly is the team that should have started against the Russians. Sterling and wheelchair Whiltshire shouldn't even have been on the plane.

well that was such an exhilarating performance from England i fell asleep during the last 15 minutes :(

scraped through by the skin of their teeth but Vardy was just not getting given the ball Lallana couldn't hit an open goal I really think that was the game that Rashford should have started with perhaps vardy coming on as fresh legs after 65 minutes dominated possession just didn't seem to be able to pick the right moves/balls to get the goals
