Would you be comfortable taking a child to school on their own without a adult present? This morning I got a job where I had to take a 10 year old child to school on her own without an adult present. I phoned the council and asked if there was an age limit at which they could travel on their own? There isn't they said it's up to me whether I feel comfortable taking a 10 year old girl to school on her own?

The kids are entitled to school transport so that is what they get. We have several infant age kids that we transport.

I'm not on about School transport I'm on about children who's parents pay for them to go to school.

I've taken single children under 10 to school before but in most cases the parents and child have been in my taxi before and know me
