one of our customers took delivery of his Tesla model s a couple of weeks ago. It cost him £110,000. He took it out the other day, only the 3rd time he had been out in it, and bang he hit a badger.
£5,000 for the repair and it will take 2 months to get the parts. OOPS!

remember a driver hit one by Burghley park about 20 years ago only an old ford Granada but cost a few hundred for new wing, bumper, headlights etc.

The big problem is they sort of hop across the road and are none too quick so braking alone doesn't work as with rabbits squirrels and deer if you can't swerve round them it's bye bye front bumper or worse if you have your foot down

by the way did you know that less than 1 in 3 badgers found at the roadside have actually been hit by a car

I thought they had a collision avoidance thing fitted or at least something to apply the breaks quick, if so take it back and demand a refund
