WELL THE SEASON HAS STARTED ALREADY WITH THE EXTRA PRELIMINARY ROUND THIS WEEKEND Knowing how much you lot like non league football I thought i'd bore you with it The first of 13 rounds started on friday with most ties today and a few tomorrow 17 teams making their debut in the FA cup this year including Cheddar unsurprisingly known as the cheesemen they have been going for 125 years but have never played in the Fa Cup they drew 2-2 away at Bodmin townThe biggest win was in the local derby between Yaxley and Huntingdon Yaxley WINNING 12-0 another high scoring game was Flackwell heath vs Baldock town which finished 6-3 to the home side My favourite tie has to be that between ARDley utd. and TUFFley rangers which finished 3-2 to Ardley bet that was a bruising encounter msl Wembley FC won 4-0 against Daventry bet they don't play at the actual stadium though ![]() and of course the mighty Daniels will be away to Sleaford in the next round after sleaford won 1-0 at fakenham today for the Daniels was semifinals of the Lincs cup which they won 2-1 against the Tulips having knocked grimsby town out in the quarter finals |

They used to be a spin off of the football club Mansfield Town, a director and the CEO had a fall out so he went and set up AFC Mansfield. They've made up now and the Director is back in with Mansfield Town FC, he's left the running of AFC Mansfield to Andy Saunders and the manager Rudi Funk, Rudi is a colourful character and a good non league manager. |

last round qualifying today before the main draw Biggest thumping of the day was Kidderminster thrashing Weymouth 6-0 and Eastleigh thrashing North Leigh by the same score and Dover and Brackley town both winning 5-0 away from home performance of the day i thing must go to Spennymoor who won 3-0 away at Lincoln united and Eastbourne winning 2-1 away at Aldershot but Bishop Aucklands cup run came to an end at Stockport with another shock at Tonbridge Angels who have been rampant scorers in previous rounds going down 3-0 at home although to Dartford who are the bigger club. the yorkshire derby finished Harrogate 0-2 halifax and the merseyside derby (sort of) finished Southport 1-0 Chester Some minnows have got through though with Stourbridge winning 3-1 at Nantwich Merstham winning 2-1 against ebbfleet and Westfields winning 2-1 against leiston Oh and my team it finished Daniels 1-1 Wrexham after 2 great chances went begging in the last 10 minutes they certainly were a match for their more opponents 3 divs above them but I suspect back at the racecourse ground might be a bit different
