Darryl at Pitts is one of the best meter fitters in the UK. There's nothing he doesn't know about them.

Apart from how to take the top of the dash out on a brand new Toyota Prius without damaging the main part of the dash.

They aren't made to have a meter fitted to be fair.

I am not sure why they had to go behind the dash in the middle when it was a mirror meter. They said that it was the clips that hold that section of the dash in place were spring loaded so when they lifted it out the clips shot down the dash and left 2 lines in the vinyl. Fortunatly we were able to get this repaired by a specialist company in Burbage for around £80.00 which Pitts have paid for without question. So all's well that ends well.

There you go then job sorted, not every job runs smooth especially with these fang dangle cars that are coming out nowadays. Not every job is as easy as a Mondeo, meter in, run wire to pulse near glove box, job done.
