Quote: We are very proud of the one operator operation which we have designed and which essentially enables us to provide the best possible service for our customers and the schools whilst enabling the education authorities who are providing the funding to make important savings. Although for every school we try to adopt our proven methods the efficiencies of the one operator system are clear. Today we operate over 150 vehicles into the following schools as a one operator operation. Quote: The one operator operation means that we deal with the transport for all special needs students attending a particular school. This has major and proven advantages for all parties concerned. Although for every school we adopt a similar pattern it is inevitably easier if one operator has total control. http://www.24x7ltd.co.uk/one_operator_operation.php |

Sounds like the sort of cartel a lot of county councils are adopting, get one firm to sign the paperwork with the council, they make a fortune subbing it out to all and sundry at a greatly reduced rate. |

Me thinks there should be an investigation into the mode of operation of this lot, they appear to be from their advert a registered charity, charities have a lot of concessions in regard to not having to pay dues that normal trading companies are obliged to pay. This then gives them a clear advantage commercially in relation to normal operators. |

Most of the students live miles from the school, which is why it takes 20 cars. Now by your reckoning between school runs these 20 drivers should be moving oap's and disabled people about. Sorry but in our small town there are just not that many people who need moving around or should we just kidnap them from the street and take them somewhere. |
