| Post subject: | Working Class Golfers |
These were at one time, usually people looking to get in with gaffers/arse lickers /social climbers and the like,Anything changed? anyone who whacks a little ball up a dreary stretch of land with a stick, walks up to it and does the same thing again must have something wrong with them tbh, Can you even class it as a sport? Not much skill or exertion going on is there? reason i ask is my mate ( well ex mate now) asked if i would, like a "round" through the week never ever picked a golf stick up ever i would knack him at snooker with 10 pints though Getting a ball in a hole, with no obstacles or opposition trying to prevent you doing so? fooking hell its easier than breathing must be some golfers on here

My dad was a big golf man, he tried to get me into it from a young age but I soon found out it was a good walk spoilt. Captain it's over to you.
