Soiling charge should be included on the Tariff Table if you are a TAXI,anyone then soiling the vehicle refusing to pay will be charged by the Police resulting in them ending up with a criminal record.

Police gave driver an appointment for this afternoon to report it

i had a drunken lad & 3 lasses in the car last night, the fare was £9.40, the lasses got dropped off at a club & said "can you take him to ( and gave me the address)" he was sitting in the back, slumped forward & hiccuping like fook , i said to the lass "he aint gonna spew is he?" she said "no, he always hiccups like this when hes pi$$ed", she wanted some money off him so he had to get out the car to stand up & go in his pockets for cash , while outside the car ( i had my window down) i herd her say (very quietly) , "now john your not gonna spew in the taxi again are you" ?,he said, "i will try not to" i just said "just pay mate im not taking you" ,he kicked off shouting & balling , i just said ." ok mate, 3 options as i cant be bothered with this chit"

1-) pay me now because you aint going any further in this cab

2-) wait here while i lock the car & go & get the police over there who are sitting in the van

3-) you have just gave me your address & i will come around tomorrow morning & we can sort it then when you are sober & not so full of bravado ( he was only about 25-30)

My (out) on possible puke situations, was to notify the potential puker of the soil charge, in our case it was £50. This was usually followed by....Yeh that's okay drive. With me then asking......do you have the £50 in the event of it happening, followed by (always) yes drive ! I would then insist on the fare and the £50 upfront, adding that if they did not puke.......then the £50 would be given back on completion of the journey. Only once in all the years did a mate of one extremely drunk buddy come up with the money........the rest either decline Or do not have the money.
