I had this discussion with our council last year. We are only entitled to 2 days at the premium rate so our council agreed that it should be the 25th and 26th regardless of what days these fall on. But if they are at a weekend like this year and last year that we can't charge the premium on the 27th which is the Christmas day bank holiday. I thought that this was a fair compromise. Likewise new years day is on a Sunday and we charge the premium rate on that day which means we don't get it on the Bank Holiday Monday. I still bet that there are some who will charge the premium rate on all the days. |

our tariff card specifically states T3 Xmas day boxing day and new years day and T2 for all bank holidays which includes the extra ones at xmas I think the drivers need to get the council to agree to a trade liaison meeting and make sure it's on the agenda and enough bods turn up to make their feelings known |
