A crappy end for me and Mrs John, we have been surrounded by people with coughs and colds/general unwellness for the past 3 weeks.

For the past 3 years this being the 4th we have booked for 3 days/nights at the Marriot in Bournemouth, meeting up with another couple who are good fun and and excellent company, seeing in the New Year with them at the Marriot - a smashing evening/night. Unfortunately on the Thursday night before before we are due to travel down, Mrs J starts to feel unwell! The next morning she was truly not well, so on the day that we were due to arrive I had to ring and cancel the reservations, that was yesterday afternoon.

As I write @13.53 she is still in bed, bad head and an aching body,so I guess that it will be me and the TV tonight.

Apart from that..........I would like to wish you all a Happy and prosperous New Year.

2017 is going to be a good year.

Mini mini Sx will be joining us soon, eventually going to get to the big Curry House, and I have a very very expensive family holiday with a mouse and duck in September. :D

Happy New Year to you all. Me personally I'm glad to see the back of 2016, nothing can be worse than the shitty year that's just gone, low earnings, loads of miles, shit system and to top it all off the worse Christmas in 28 years of Taxi driving, 2017 will consist of me looking at a change of jobs. I'm no longer a people person and I'm fed up of ferrying the unemployed around. New Years Eve has just took the piss. I sacked it off at half 9 I couldn't stand another hour out there.
