So having a contract that said return 3pm, and the head saying it was a 30 minute window, and getting cheesed off waiting i was stupid enough to ask for an explanation .... is it 2.45, 3pm or 3.15 they want a car? We actually finish at 2.45pm to facilitate taxis not having to wait too long so we start dismissing at 2.45pm. Obviously with the amount of taxis all boys are not going to be on by 3pm. If he would like to arrive at 3pm that’s fine . Occasionally when there has been a school trip and they have overrun , most taxi drivers are accommodating. |

that's probably the one thing the school can't give you because they never finish the same time each day by the sounds of it |

you should have been informed about the flexible pick up times in your tender information so you could have taken into account the waiting time and priced it in, though I doubt if the council would have known. |

I did 4 1/2 years at one school and the kids came out spot on the booked time 4.40 boom, like a highland charge to the cars |

School broke up today, i rolled in at 3.05 and the last 3 kids (my 3) bolted out...i didnt even switch the engine off sorted |

We have a strict 10 min waiting time, we wait 10 mins then drive off, & get paid. If we are called back we recharge. Schools soon get the message. |

We have 3 minutes for parents in a morning, after "contact"....knock and run.. I tell you what though, they only want it once.... ive done it on 2 different jobs and never had to wait again |
