Also in London, it is illegal for a person who knows they have the plague to flag down a taxi or try and ride on a bus. An ancient law still force today prohibits any person who knows that they have a notifiable disease including the plague from entering any form of public conveyance or carriage without first telling the driver. "ere driver I've got bubonic plague can you take me to the hospital" and the answer is....................................... |

If you put a grain of sand on one square of the chess board, and two on the next and kept doubling it. The number of grains on square 64, if put end to end, would stretch to the nearest star (bar the sun) and back. Approx 60,000,000,000,000 miles. |

captain cab wrote: its not only London law, the law belongs to one of the public health acts that every driver is obligated to Public Health Act 1984 I'm fairly sure (previously it was in a 1930's Act I think and was quoted in our old bylaws). To be accurate the sufferer is obligated, not the Driver. |
