edders23 wrote: numberplate barely legal license plate illegal and why shouldn't it be posted up here it is public information Tell you what, stick your car on a few websites without obscuring the plates. You'll more than likely have zero trouble, however there is just that slim chance that someone will use the number plate for a joyride or to go for a blast through some speed cameras, and you will have the threat of a bill/fine/ban hanging over you , obviously not you like , but a shitstorm will ensue sorting it ![]() cloning a particular car perhaps? For example - Red Ford Mondeo shown on screen, number plate visible. Number plate is then copied, attached to similar red Ford Mondeo which can then be driven through traffic cameras, Congestion Charge zones, parked illegally etc with corresponding offences being recorded against the registered keeper of the original Mondeo that pic should be removed tbh

I have edited the picture to avoid upsetting the sensitive souls on TDO But did you know some councils have online lists of plates-registration numbers and owners names? |

There is nothing wrong in keeping the register in this format,it saves someone going to a Council Office and asking to view the register which is normally provided in computer print out format. |
