The most bizarre taxi services in the world: Now you can summon a boat, ski shuttle and even a hangover bus at the touch of a button

Uber has expanded its fleet to include speedboats, mopeds and ski shuttle cars
It is also testing a car service in Mexico specifically for passengers with pets
Other unusual transport companies include one which runs a 'hangover bus'
By Annabel Fenwick Elliott for MailOnline

When Uber first launched, it revolutionized the way we book taxis.

Now, the San Francisco-based company is launching a multitude of other vessels to get us from A to B, from a ski shuttle car in the Andes mountain ranges to a speedboat in Turkey's Istanbul.

And it's not just Uber. Other transport services include a hangover bus in Las Vegas and app-based companies all over the world which will drive your car home for you if you're too drunk.

Someone tried this in the Toon some years ago,but it did not last long, the insurance you would have to carry to drive any vehicle will be colossal and would make it virtually unprofitable.

Same thing was tried here a few years ago ( I think it was called "home James")
The guy would turn up on a mini motorbike that folded into a hold-all and was placed into the boot of your vehicle and the rider would drive your car home.

Will a traders policy cover it?
