I understand that this years PHTM Taxi Exhibition is being held in Milton Keynes for the second year running, instead of Manchester & Coventry where it's been held before.

Anyone going?
Anyone go last year? If so, what did you think? Is it worth going?

It's on 17th and 18th May 2017, at the MK Arena.

You can register for free and here

It has been held at Donnington park,Telford,Coventry, Manchester and milton keynes 3 years running (1st one at the Milton keynes proving ground where you could drive a Tesla around the banked track allegedly)

If I go it will probably be the Thursday but it shrinks every year and a lot of the traders that were useful selling car cleaning kit, Oil additives, accessories have largely disappeared and it is just vehicles, booking systems and insurance companies left

Oh and CC will be there manning the NTA stand no doubt apart from that hardly anyone on here goes

It's always too far up north for me.

TBH organising anything for this trade is a nightmare and doing that show must be even worse.

I think if you are in the market for a new car, especially WAVs, then it's worth a go.

For insurance I doubt much business is done, but the spivs love being made look important at the data despatch stands.

It's a long way to go for a free pen

don't forget the keyrings,Air fresheners sweets and occasionally a free travel mug oh yes and once or twice real mugs

It does depend a lot if you are looking for something but would be a lot better if there was a few more stands selling useful stuff as used to be the case. In the old days I used to turn up with a big shopping list for drivers who weren't going but not now

A few of us from Chester were thinking of going hoping to see the new tx5 and/or metrocab but it doesn't look like either are putting in an appearance so I don't think we'll bother.
