Post subject:  SADIQ TO BAN PDA'S
Last week big fur ore in London about vast increase of accidents down to both PH and Hack Drivers being distracted by their PDA's and running over pedestrians as well as smashing into other Vehicles :D :D

On TV a cab driver said" yes their a nuisance and you only get 13 seconds to accept or decline the job i dont like them their dangerous"

that fat clown that is the Branch Sec of the GMBPDB said " i warn all our members be very careful there could be a Police officer watching you and YOU COULD GET A £200 FIXED Penalty as well as 6 points if you use the PDA while moving" ffs not one word of concern about the EXTREME INHERENT DANGERS OF USING THESE DEVICES #-o #-o

Both comments were broadcast on BBC tv London

High time the GMB looked to dump this fat peurile burke. :badgrin: :badgrin:

his comments were abysmal and warranted criticism which of course they have received.

AAH you think i am still working :badgrin: :badgrin: :badgrin: as i indicated a little while ago, well that episode was interesting and ended with them bunging me plenty of £££ to pizz off after i got the H&Safety mob crawling all over them and the fire service :badgrin: :badgrin: :badgrin:

a rather enjoyable couple of months naturally all subject to a confidentiality agreement, now considering whacking another HUGE retailer in the Local Shopping centre :lol:

What would replace them? Back to radios which are even more dangerous?

Pdas and data head's could be made safer by a feature which disabled most of there uses whilst in motion, the only thing you should be able to do is a quick tap to accept a job.

Voice command activation is possible if the tech companies think people will pay for that so it is perfectly feasible for PDA's to sit in a holder and work on voice command. Many cars are now fitted with a feature that allows you listen to and dictate replies to text messages verbally so it should be possible for PDA's to do the same

Once tech companies realise sales might nose dive I'm sure new models with built in voice activation will appear

ps Tel I use good old fashioned two way radios which are quite legal to use

Good move Grandad a councilor on a licensing authority admitting he uses dangerous equipment reckon i can use that one :badgrin: :badgrin: i am now a member of UNITE and know some who will for sure make hay out of that quote TORY BOY......................keep it up :D :D
