Uber have been cheaper than the local PH bases, and found his address (new build) when TC cars couldnt..

They're scum, no other name for them. The sad thing is the drivers and punters using them don't realise it. As soon as autonomous cars are viable the drivers are gone, the drivers are facilitating their own downfall. There won't be any competition left, leaving them to charge what they like.
As for the PH firms not being able to find his address, it's been the best part of 12years since I worked for a base but even back then we had the facility to plot on the system's map any difficult addresses, You just messaged the base when you were outside the house and then pressed a button.
If by "upping" my game you mean having a clean, reliable vehicle, turning up on time,helping customers as much as I can, promoting myself and having a lot of repeat work/customers, yes I do that. If you want me to discount and undercut, NO, I won't.
