everytime i get a taxi i tip the driver, i dont know if everyone does it but i always round the fare off to the nearest £2. so if its £4.70 i'd give £6. or if its £8.60 i'd give £10. do any drivers on here get decent tips? whats the biggest tip you've had ? |

£10 and a box of beer was one I wont forget.

The best one's are those who give you the correct fare then whisper "and here's 20p for you"
The worst are the old ladies who try to give me a tip of £2 for a £4 fare, i have to spend 5mins telling them that i'l take 50p and no more! bless em

Licensed Private Hire is the future. Just ask the lads on Radio Cabs driving the limos.

So if it's £5.90 then you give £6? 
I always give big tips as well, trouble is I haven't gotten a cab for years

no i'd always make sure its at least £1. so if its £5.90 it would be here's a tenner mate, just give me £3 change ! |

biggest tip, it was half the fare, but on an airport job , aint sayin how much cos i of course i declared it, not. |
