If you buy a new to you vehicle for taxi or PH work and it passes all the tests required, to go on, does your council also insist on a police vehicle check , similar, to a ANPR. or what ever its called.
Ours does

Basically the council check with the police to make sure the vehicle isn't stolen, now considering most buy from main dealers , is this possible

Yes, we know what ANPR stands for, (I have even used its predecessor, vengeful in NI in the late 80's) but I've never heard of the council asking for a " police vehicle check".
