got my 3rd £70 ticket (call it No3)

had left my PH in the "taxi" waiting bay - aka rank - at a hospital off the highway (obviously) the bays have no licensing or time restrictions, i was 3 minutes over the in/out limits.

i got away with tickets 1 and 2, but i was in a hackney skoda albeit not licensed by the hospitals local authority...

they want £40 at the moment

Challenge it, but don't ignore it.

Go to peppipoo or Money Saving Expert, they will have loads of templates to copy.

If you appeal you cost the scammers £30+, and you should still be able to pay the lower charge.

I suspect if you ask for a code to go to appeal they will cancel it.

PE are very litigious. They are beatable if it's done precisely right.

As Sussex has said, Pepipoo or MSE. DO NOT, under any circumstances, identify the driver with a personal pronoun when you post or correspond with PE. The RK has a lot more power in dealing with this than the driver. Only refer to 'the driver.'

If you haven't constructed it properly, that too will be refused.

Up to you, but be careful of committing fraud, if it goes to Adjudicator or Court you may be digging a deep hole.....
