I did 6 till 2am, took £130 for 12 jobs one of which was for £30 and another £25 - so the other 10 jobs gave me £75. That's about half what I'd normally do on a NYE. At one point I sat 45 minutes first turn on a normally busy area without a job. On a normal Saturday night I can do £150 in the same hours. |

Slow in the Borders until 12 , then went like a fair until 5 am , when I just pulled the plug, went out at 12.30 on new years day and went hell for leather the whole day, had to put folk off so I could get my dinner, worked until 4 am again, 2nd started off ok until around 8 pm where it died, due to folk returning to work the next day |

Rightly or wrongly; I used to go out on a 12 hour shift Friday and Saturday and take nothing but a frozen bottle of water. The bottle was wrapped in a small hand towel to provide insulation. It would melt slowly throughout the shift slaking any hunger pangs during that time. I was aware of the sedentary nature of the job, as such it kept my weight in check. |
