Afternoon all,

I am new to the private hire industry and currently getting some insurance quotes, now the best one I have had is from Freeway insurance and all looks good (good reviews on trust pilot) but when I have had calls from other companies and I have said that I have had a quote from Freeway 1 company have warned me that they might be going bust and the same way as enterprise insurance?

Can anyone advise on this please or recommend a company who are competitive?

Many Thanks

Chris

we have had lots of discussions on enterprise and freeway might be worth you entering freeway into the site search and look at the old threads it throws up

TBH there are so few underwriters that you will have only the same quotes come back from all

Ask the broker is it a uk based company. There's no guarantee they won't go bust but far less likely. I was insured with enterprise and although it was a pain in backside at the time, I only lost about £100 and considering they were a few hundred quid cheaper than anyone else for about 3 years, I'm still up in monetary terms. :D

If it is just one vehicle try Swinton. Some of the owner drivers here use them.
