This chap was employed as in PAYE with holiday pay and pension and yes, he had been given previous warnings both verbally and written and he was asked if he wanted representation when he was dismissed.

hmmmm....................... do you not have a proper long distance rota ? My drivers get offered airports on a first in queue basis and they don't get put to the back of the list if they turn one down.

The down side of that is that we did lose an important contract as a result because not all the drivers are as professional in their approach that said some drivers get way more than others simply because they don't mind the early starts on airport jobs
