The Company i drive for does
Easy to remember Phone Numbers. 444444, 414444, 234567 etc
Local Fun Runs (donated to charity)
Local radio Ad's (catchy tune's)
Local Newspaper
Plus 250+ cars with doorsigns on them
5 Town Center offices
And of course the Towns Hac's going on a go slow and the customers using us instead!

I think a freephone number is good, but not many on here agree. :sad:

Get one with a good numbers, blizt it out to all the pubs, dentists, restaurants, hairdressers, doctors etc etc and see what happens. :wink:

In my opinion the best promotion tools are:

Good vehicle signage (compliant with LA regs)
Local radio adverts for the bigger firms
Dropping cards through doors
Keyrings

But most of all, a good memorable phone number - Doesn't have to be freephone.

Keeping your existing customers happy - recommendation is always the best promotion.
