Afternoon all, Martin here. I’m hoping to start studying for the Glasgow-based Knowledge from next week onwards but I’m keen to have a chat with some owner drivers to ask some questions about the job itself/running the business. Yesterday, I spoke with a Glasgow-based owner (non-driver) who rents his cab out to others which answered some of my questions. If any owner drivers in Glasgow would be willing to take some time for a chat please get in touch. Thanks in advance, Martin |

Have you tried the specialist Glasgow forum? Chances are there might not be much activity on there, but only members can view, so you won't know until you register (assuming you haven't). http://www.glasgowtaxiforum.org/ (Or it may be that people on here could answer any more general queries, because to a degree the system works the same everywhere.) |

Hi Stuart, I wasn’t aware of that forum - thanks for letting me know. I’ll remain active on here regardless as I’m hoping to brush up on my knowledge of relevant issues etc. Martin |
