Do you think that new drivers applying for a licence should be tested to see if they are clear, and then all drivers at least once a year. This is becoming common in other trades?

It has been commented to me that several night drivers in our town are using cannabis and one of mine is very good friends with 2 of the drivers mentioned

I think it is a good idea or even include it in the medical

It has been mentioned here that a couple of drivers are using drugs. I think random drug testing should be carried out.

Random testing is the only way. All drugs, except cannabis, disappear from the bloodstream after 48 hours. I reported a driver on suspicion of drug taking, but it turned out he really did have [edited by admin] brains.

Yes, and I also think it's worth considering adding a drugs test to the medical.

And testing drivers on the ability to use the quote function on here =D>
