Cheers Sussex.
It has been a strange day, 2 Council meetings, helping a rough sleeper to get off the streets and a few drinks with some of the Councillors and our drivers.

Thank you chaps, She has bought me a selection of hot sauces. I put the tiniest bit on the end of my finger to see how hot a couple of them were and I nearly took my head off. I washed my hands afterwards. A couple of hours later I rubbed my eye and it still bloody well stung.

Suspect you didn't do that this year

But hope you had a good day anyway :D

Funny how this thread missed last year, though, but has come back to life this year :-o

I spent most of the day trying to sort out stuff for one of my sons who has just been given a flat by our Council after being homeless for almost 10 years. I can't believe the generosity of the people in our town who have helped him out with donations of furniture and household stuff. It has been a very humbling experience for us all.
