which do you guys like to pick up from? personally i hate it when you gotta pick up from pubs and they stumble in and stumble out and have no recollection of where they live 
but i also hate getting out of the car and helping with shopping, hell i dont even do it for my missus nevermind customers.... i suppose they both as bad but a least shoppers dont [edited by admin] on your seat! |

I don't mind picking up from pub's but I absolutly will not go in the pub looking for the fare. I don't take cash jobs on the radio so If they do not come out and find me I get paid anyway. |

Of the two supermarkets win hands down. Pubs, you can stick them up your ...............

We dont pick upfrom pub's in town, they have to walk to one of our offices but we do anywhere else but it's a pain in the bum most of the time. Supermarkets are ok coz if you get a no job theres always someone else to take. |

I don't really like either, but it depends on the circumstances. I don't mind spending five minutes loading up the car if they're going 50 miles, say, but not if it's 500 yards. And especially if they object to you putting the meter on while you spend five minutes loading the car up

Well as our tarriff allows us to charge 20p per bag then the more shopping there is the merrier. It's been known for the shopping surcharge to be greater than the actual milage fare

wow you charge per bag - dont think punters here will go for that! 500 yard jobs are great, quick £2.80 - not much fuel gone and another job coming.... if its quiet then maybe id prefer a long job, but trust me fellaz - staying local is where the money is at. i make £25 an hour at times staying local |

We're allowed to charge 10p per bag but we dont. The worst is those who have a massive buggy and loads of bags, the row's ive had because i wont put shopping bags on the seats, i just tell em to wait for an estate or get 2 cars. Milk is a pain to get off the seats if its spilt, let alone blood infested water from fresh meat etc. In fact i dont know why i drive! All i do is moan!!!! |

By rights for insurance purposes you should have all the stuff put in the boot, The charge per bag really only relates to items of luggage as per the tarriff card, I know some drivers do count the bags and ring up 10p per bag, personally I don't bother, unless there's a bit of weight The next worst stuff is when they tell you the top has come off me urine sample I was taking to hospital and its spilt all over. |

:lol: Someone gotta get these new Offices ready for you! Notice you never call in with a bacon sarnie an a brew to reward me for all the hard graft im puttin n for you!!
For those who dont know, i'm a Brickie by trade and tend to spend 1/2 the year building/renovating new Offices and doing repairs to keep Dinkydo in and his new motor in work!!! |
