If you send the footage to the police they will prosecute. At least they do in most instances round here.

Presumably that's two independent cameras you've got rather than a dual-lens setup?

Assumed it was a dual-lens system at first, but looks like the Nextbase 512GW is a single lens camera, so presumably you've got two?

https://www.nextbase.com/en-gb/series-1 ... -dash-cam/

Have been thinking about a dashcam for yonks and wanted front and rear external views. And have been considering buying two independent cams rather than a dual-lens system.

when the rear cam is plugged in it drops the quality of recording, and even a 128gb card only holds about 2 days of videos, to keep any bit you have to press a button.

had 3 today try to kill me...

Ah, yes, I see it on the webpage now:

Quad HD 1440p recording at 30fps

Records at 1080p if combined with 512GW Rear Cam

I thought the 512GW was just a standalone single camera, so wondered if you maybe had two independent cameras set up front and rear.

But it's all clear now :)

The 512 is a single forward facing camera, the rear camera is an extra
