A mate went bankrupt in November and now hes struggling to get re-insured... thing is hes paying CASH not on credit, but quotes are coming in.....£600 more than last year

If he is a licensed person ,he is very lucky as normally you could not be licensed if you were bankrupt.

unfortunately your credit score affects your insurance and his will be very low they treat you as High risk so the premium reflects that

If he has been made bankrupt then he will have enormous difficulty renewing his badge

They don't credit score you when you apply for a badge, it doesn't show up on your DBS either!!

Why?

the biggest group OF bankrupts ARE taxi drivers, bankruptcy has many causes from illness to unemployment and divorce..rarely are they burglars or muggers

our proposed policy had this puritanical victorian thinking but it wasnt included in the version passed by the council

Credit checks are part of the I.D. checks against the Electoral roll, etc, do one you get both.
