Location: Stamford Britains prettiest town till SKDC ruined it
just had a phone call 10.40 am from the boss of gangsta cabs

"what tariff are we supposed to be on today"

I said the one on your tariff card :roll: but apparently even though he has been driving taxis for 20 years he still has no idea what the correct tariff is Nor does he have a tariff card on display in his vehicle :roll:

If only someone could invent a meter that automatically updates the tariffs to the correct date and rate. :roll: :roll: :roll:

not many people supply them round here and they are not a council requirement

The problem isn't the meter, as almost all modern meters can have at least three years of meters rates programmed in.

The problem is getting the council to insist on calendar controlled meters.
