I am getting plenty of emails offering PPE from companies that normally offer sim cards etc but minimum order quantity 500 at about 69p + vat+post it would be a very pricey purchase unless you could share the order

and I was told early in the crisis that these masks are really only effective at stopping you passing it on but maybe that's the answer make face masks compulsory and perhaps the economy could be partially re started

Some stuff in the media recently about even a scarf covering your mouth is better than nothing, although hardly 100% effective.

After all, recall all that stuff earlier on about coughing into your sleeve - so a scarf covering your mouth and face might stop some transmission.

Bought 50 for £40, half for me, half for son, we give our 1 pupil 1 both ways

Germany has suffered less than the UK

A
Quote:
ll of Germany's states have announced plans to make face masks compulsory to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Bremen became the final federal region to back the measures, with its senate set to confirm the decision on Friday.

Mask use will be compulsory on public transport throughout Germany, and nearly all states will also make face coverings mandatory when shopping.

Chancellor Angela Merkel strongly recommended their use last week when she eased lockdown rules nationwide.
