when I say LA I the mean local authority which is the Scottish Borders Council which is a regional council.

Local Education Authority ?


I'm sure there is one of those but School runs all come through Passenger transport of the Local authority.

Ive also heard some areas pass all contracts to an outside agency who then put them out to tender...

another snout in the trough

We have re started 1 contract today for 2 days a week and another one tomorrow for 5 days a week.

I did put that they were re started. Interestingly, there are a couple of kids back at school who were on our contracts but one of the parents told my wife that County hall are paying them to transport the students rather than re start those contracts.
